Be still my heart!

Be still my heart
Arise awake rejoice!
Even when dark clouds cover my sky
And hailstones fall as raindrops
As earthquakes pull the ground from my feet
And whirlwinds toss me through earth’s corners,
I hear that calm strong voice say;
‘’peace be still’’

When hell’s messengers invade my body
While those of hades leave destruction in their wake
And the sores of my flesh compete with jobs
As i crumble to the earth like a pile of dust
I hear that still, soothing voice say;
‘’be my stripes, you are healed’’

When my nightingale sings dirges
And my roses wither in the morning
While oceans become deserts
As the howls of sheol fill my ears
I hear that sweet comforting voice say
‘’it is well’’

When the hills laugh at my despair
And the valleys sinks too deep
While the pains breed swampy pits
As the stars recede far into the sky
I hear that powerful strengthening voice say
‘’you can do all things’’

When i sink so low down the pits of my reality
And the shackles of my actions bound my spirit
As ghosts from my past wrestle against my present
While the future looks on-helpless and fearful
I hear that vindictive reassuring voice say
‘’you are my righteousness’’

While the end eludes me reach
When thorn full up my path
And weariness accompanies me
As life’s journey courts hardships
And the route is obviously unclear
I hear that unwavering lingering voice say
‘’my grace is sufficient for you’’

Even when blood cease to flow in my veins
And love’s elixir dries up from the source
As my blankets are ripped off my body
While my nakedness is feasted on by loneliness
And it is crystal clear that i can’t compete with the giant
I hear that loving companionable voice say
‘’fear not, I am with you’’

When the darkness camps all around me
And their poisonous darts blot out the sun
While battle wounds decorate my armor
As my banner begins the descent to the ground
I hear that fiery commanding voice says
‘’I will fight for you’’

When the clouds hold their tears
And the earth shrinks in rebellion
While locusts befriend my land
As lacks stares and laughs in my face
I hear that rich revitalizing voice say
‘’I will supply all your needs’’

And when my strength fail me eventually
As my flesh nourishes the earth
While my spirit bids farewell to this realm
And my tired bones lie in their inglorious grave
I will hear that eternal voice stronger than death
‘’arise my heart rejoice’

How nicely you express the resilience of your soul to find solace and resurrection against the diversity of grief, sadness, and death. Some startling imagery. I like that the power to rejoice is not coming from a stated god, but more an abstract voice that comes from within. It does not matter the source.

There are numerous grammatical issues; "while the end eludes me reach" (my) etc.
If you are going to use punctuation, USE IT. There are numerous places that need commas, periods, semi colons. "Arise, awake, rejoice!" My take on punctuation- all or none. In the middle doesn't help the poem.

Enjoyed your very positive poem. Thanks!

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance
