So much hatred in one so young
a mind twisted by evil to Satan's task
then set loose in our city of peace
blood in his eyes
war in his mind

Goal to edge on racial war
riot based on racial hate
he'd seen it before in other cities
(mainly northern)
why not here?

In the lone state where the battle flag
of a defeated still flies
where memories run deep.

So go into a place of peace
be welcomed among the ones you hate
......and hesitate...........
then light war's fuse.

Nine innocents by random chosen
Nine innocents by fate chosen?
Nine innocents in wrong church chosen.

Deemed by those up north
racist
divided

The wrong choice made
Hoist by his own petard

Reverse of the effect desired
for here, at least, lives forgiveness
tolerance and reason
unity against such evil

So sit there in your cell you monster
watch our country come together
for here in this southern town
we know right from wrong
stew
until you are sent
to well earned hell
