The Artist

Like molten lava the passion of creativity
through the soul of the artist flows

The sweet sultry tones
stoke the fire
illuminating his eyes
which see the world as something new

Filled with beauty and mystery
in every brush stroke
the simplicity of the man
belies the complexity of his hand

i would consider leaving out does on the second line, another very descriptive write beautifully worded and your ending is the very essence of "The Artist" lovely imagery as usual.

Thank you...Teddy

Maybe we have it backwards. Maybe man created god in man's image?
In a burst we get an idea never before thought of that gives us new choices.
Where does all that come from?

A wonderful write, C.
Thanks,
.
