accountability

as I wander
through both information and deception
am I simply curious
or will I seek until it hurts
enough to reconstruct my understanding

and when I realize
it lives far beyond the human mind
will I allow it to transpose an alien reality
that reveals aspects of me that are disturbing
or humbling
or amazing

or will I turn away
in denial

just how much do I love truth?

but do you recognise the truth when it seems too far out of your concept of reality - or do you simply then call it a lie and ignore it?

i am one of the first to complain about too much punctuation, especially question marks
so i would be the last to put them in my writes
:)

I question one line
will I allow it to transpose an alien reality
or perhaps just the word alien. It sounds a bit sci-fi and critters exploding from someone's chest.
perhaps different, foreign, ineffable? Check a thesaurus. Unless that's what you really meant.

Dig it!

oo, just saw Rula's comment, that woman is getting to know me too well!

'alien' to me means totally out of my own concept of reality... i don't really think of the sigourney weaver type... but i do see what you mean

i'm checking thesaurus's, but haven't found a word that means what i do - 'ineffable' is the closest, but still not it... will keep thinking on it ... thanks
