I am a professional gardener, raised in Colorado, transplanted to New Orleans for 9 years, and have lived in the Montgomery, Alabama area for 27 years. I have managed 40 acres of gardens for 27 years and get to work with a lot of interesting folks from all over the United States. I use writing to help me figure out my journey through life. I love to read poetry and to write it. One of my favorite past times is to search out new poets (to me) on youtube. I am an abstract artist and use art to figure things out as well. I don't have very much training in writing poetry and would like to learn more and connect with other poets.
