Undiscovered overwhelm.

Wow! I knew it would blow out but didn't expect anything like this when we changed the Undiscovered list to less than 2 comments.

Let's see this as a special opportunity though. Go to the last page, take the last poem, and see if this member is still posting. If not, why not? Do you know them on Facebook, can you find out why they left and if there is something we, as Neopoet could do better?

Just one a week from everyone and we can clear this backlog and make the Undiscovered list a valuable tool for helping our members.

Comments

one could tactfully suggest that if one wants feedback
1. it is polite to respond, at least with a thank you, to feedback given and
2. one needs to give feedback to others.

cheers,
Jess

It's a long way to go, these go back 4 years and I did comment on a few that were on the last page, quite a hornets nest you have kicked.
But it does show what has been happening here on Neopoet,
Cant you remember a list I put out of pieces that had only one comment on, where the poet had a comment but didn't acknowledge.
It was not commented on so I scrapped it in case it offended damn should have kept on doing it.
One thing I have noticed that if I un-publish a poem it doesn't stay on Neopoet for long, good job I keep a copy of mine and some others works here on my comp.
Have a great day Jess and it's good to read of you again.
Yours as always Ian

where do you expect it to go? I thought the crash taught everyone that Neopoet is not and never has been intended as an archive. Backups of all your work are entirely your own responsibility.

I always keep copies of my own works as I said in my reply to your original.
I think I sent out 20 PM's for poets to join Barbara's workshop which gathered a few extras, and have always checked the un-discovered list and as you know have many times before cleared it out.
The task is far to large at the moment but have been picking off the odd half dozen to bring them back to stream.
It is about time more of our poets became more active on site, this is not a holiday camp, I was on a site and still a member where you had to comment on three poems before you could post but this means a lot of $'s but a good scheme.
Yours Ian

who had drifted away and are now returning.

This really is an opportunity beyond finding neglected poems.
