Message from Mona

Mona has asked me to convey her love and best wishes to everyone at Neopoet.

She will be back online soon, but you must understand that the "so called" Free World is blocking communications from her country because they fear the socialistic principles her country embraces.

thanks for the update..i was wondering why she isn't posting or commenting for a couple of months or more...

I'm glad to hear all is well, I feared for her and Psyve.

I also know some of what's been happening in Libya. However, I think either one of two
things: she is afraid of the previous forces still at large (Kadafi) because I can not believe
she or any Libyan thought he was a Socialist inspired by the people to do good. Or she
is afraid of the American influence.

Either way my heart goes out to her and her people.

Mona fears nothing! I have urged her to moderation in her phone comments in case anyone hostile of any persuasion was listening in but she will not be silenced! She makes me proud to be a fellow poet and social activist.

Socialism may take many forms but few of even Ghaddafi's worst detractors will deny that he has put more of the oil money into education, health and infrastructure than any other Middle-eastern leader. Whatever Swiss accounts he might have.

He even contributed to the Coal Miner's Union during the great strike of 1984, when Maggie Thatcher declared war on working people.

Mona insists, from passion and belief, not fear, that the great majority of Libyan people support Ghaddafi and are outraged by the Western Intervention and agents provocateur.

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
