Must be in free verse and although there is no limit on length please have sympathy for the judge and don't get Too long winded.......don't want to mention who this might apply to,,,,,Stan! lol. So trim those quills and have fun

Jan. contest winner

Please join me in congratulating the January contest winner for her poem :
ROSES IN BLOOM (Contest: Changed Perspective)
Submitted by April Dawn

I feel myself begin to dream
of all the friends who’ve come and been.
So many of them still alive
within the corners of my shadowed mind.

The relatives crowd in there too
as if the afterlife has nothing much to do.
Many are unknown to me
Just names in our troubled family history.

Jan. Contest

Anybody who has posted a poem meant for Jan. contest who has NOT put (January Contest) beside the title needs to do so or risk being overlooked in contest.

Past it ( Whatever it is ) November Contest
Submitted by Sparrow on Sat, 2018-11-24 19:49

I am in a quandary
What has been happening to me?
I put my morning coffee away
In the fridge and there it stayed

I found it later in the day
As I was putting the cutlery away
Oh shit what is going on
How can I get everything so wrong?

IMPLIED IMAGERY SHOP

Please read this short scribble :
Bare limbed woods
under drippy sky
cinched tight hoods
as I slog by.

My white bald head beetles my age.
I'm far from bed.
Leg muscles rage.

*Ok this ain't much but think about all the imagery which is Not stated yet still conferred. I am ready to delve into an implied imagery shop. If you are too then state so in comments. Syllabus will be poster Tuesday but considering my level of expertise you can rest assured that everybody can join in without fear of being left behind lol...........stan
