All this discussion on GOD

I belong to a group who is sent poems either by ourselves or other known poets every day, recently there have been an overweight of poems with God and religion as the theme so I, being asked, and joining others who felt the same, and threatened to leave the group, sent this:-

Too much GOD on the poems of Poesiringen, while I understand the joyful ecstasy of praising the Lord God without stopping to breath, why not the Bhudda, or Mohammed, or all the other important gods of modern society; they all spring from the same mind, that of the human being, and one should not have monopoly over another as they are all believed to be The God and therefore are the same.

"One god world without end", but it will end even if not in our lifetime or even the lifetime of our children's children a million times over, but it will end. And to what end then the strivings of mankind? All gone to waste in the skies of never never land.

This points even more to the eastern thought of the now. That is all we have, we who live but a tiny moment in the great genesis of the universe, its billions of years. Now here where you are, is the antithesis of non existence, the essence of our beings personified, solid ever changing in time. All is changing developing into something else, never static, even if it may appear so.

The birth of ideas comes from the old ideas, growing out of them as the seed grows out of the earth, becoming and becoming. None of them is absolute, nothing is absolute, always in flux are our thoughts as the brain juxtaposes atoms in our minds, creating flashes of known and unknown thought that crystallise into new thoughts. They may vary in pattern, but as a language is built up of the same roots, the same patterns of sounds and words, they are only the dialects, or variations of that language, ever developing into another language, the young changing slowly and deliberately their sounds and meanings.

I write now to explain to my own mind the what and why, the fact and fiction of all that exists. The why, ah if we knew, but there is no why, that too is only an idea of man, to question the existence of what exists, at least what we see and hear to exist as we cannot see the half of it all.

Our lives become but scratches on the most beautiful sculpture, the most magical universe that is is around and through us, beamed by atoms we cannot see, lit up by the light of one star, sun; enhanced by natures plants and animals, birds and fish; this earth so mysterious and so mind boggling, to exist at all is a gift from that universe and we should remember all the time how we add or subtract things beautiful to it according to each our individual manner of existing.

Remember I do not discriminate against others, only those who discriminate themselves. Every man his own ideas of life, after all we don't KNOW. Love to all Ann.

We all have our own God or Gods, and we should all accept as you say all the other entities that are believed in, in this tiny corner of the Galaxy.
We are so small in the scheme of things and if we don't become better then Humon's will later be termed as a natural disaster.
The only thing that really matters is that we live with a love of all people, and that it should be unconditional.
As you say, our time here as mortals is far too short to become other than friends to everyone then sharing this beautiful Planet would be wonderful,
Yours Ian.T

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

I still remember when I was three standing up in a crowded railway carriage, saying "I love everybody in the world" and I still do.

Just wonderful discourse of a philosophy punctuated by
Punctuations,
Of what is what and the why fore of it.
The only thing I would like to add, if you’d permit me,
Is this:
Human beings are manifestations of the solar energies, encompassed by electro-magnetic and chemically mechanical forces .We learnt of lactic acid, helping tense muscles to lift our arms. And today all is electromagnetic, magnetic resonance and what not. We were germinated by time over anyone’s guess, billions of years ago .We yells at the top of our voices that we alone know. How it’s beyond my imagination.
About the brain we ought to know the basics: that the synapses help transmit energy from one synapse to the other, thus all and mostly is chemical activity. Since a chemical action is not as mathematically repeatable, we have, each and every time, a different reaction. Hence we and our thoughts also change significantly. Thus no two human beings have the same kinds of brains, thoughts, wills or emotions and so on. .Each one of us is a unique entity. The energy of the solar system, integrates with magnetism, in our blood stream, which is magnificently iron and hence magnetic. I have studied this aspect for years; you all call it Magnetic Resonance now.
Years have lapsed in imagination, hypothesis perceptions, and what we did not know, even thunder we attributed to the God of a war and so on .Today manifestly we are more knowledgeable than yesterday. The e Hindu mythology has millions of Gods. The Egyptians were intellectuals and Christianity, kept science under wraps, till the Pope 13 in 1582, rationalized the Zodiac system. Another priest, ere he died wrote,''I do not know of a God who can keep count of the BP of a billion folks… Today we are about 7.5. We are the outcome of solar energy and in a matter of time we bubble off and burst.
Our sojourn is that much ordained.
But to keep the masses, in a state of flux, yet avoid ‘’MAYHEM’’, we must have a pillar called GOD, on whom we can rest and bask in the glory of one’s individual faith.
Amen so, be it.

What a most wonderful comment making perfect sense, except that the end I do not agree with, the MUST have a pillar, what do we want a pillar for( :) ) oops! I mean that I need no pillar, for what. Lean on, we are alone among all the elements and have to balance ourselves, the excuse of having a pillar to lean on won't wash with me.

Then, like the New Guinean who learnt that there was a God to whom all his group could come for advice and help, decided that he was obsolete; when asked did he do anything for the tribe, he answered not any more, there is God to ask, he was replaced. The women did ALL the work. He just lay back and enjoyed watching them.

I suppose we lean on each other to a certain extent, as we are social beings, like the dogs in their groups, one is a leader preferably an intelligent one and one with courage to face difficulties sensibly, democracy. We all help each other here where we are, and now.

I don't know, but thank you for the interesting explanation that was good to read.

Yours Ann.

Thank you O WISE one

I disrobed myself as'' ISTAN''
And the garb is since donned
By Snow man Welessly.
That you found time to read,
And preferentially differ,
proves my point.

Each one of us is an entity.

About disagreement, its one's privilege to agree to disagree. But out of 7.5 billion, almost all except a minuscule few, are adequately knowledgeable .And profession wise priests, pardris, maulvi's, pundits and so on,they have to survive. Lets contain the masses in their grip, it helps in avoiding ‘’MAYHEM’’ ask any Maulvi.
Thanks once again .Your thoughts are charming.

He who conquers self , has won a great battle

That's nice Linda, and that's the main aim, harmony,
in all senses, with our environment as best we can,
until as Istan says, we cease: Until we do we might
as well make the best of it. Thank you for reading.

Mayhem, I'm not so sure about that, but as you will Istan.
