IN SILENT WAYS

In silent ways

I speak to you in silent ways
the stillness you hear in you is me
I am the breath when you awake
the warmth that fills your heart
when it aches
the light you seek when you despair
you will know me
in what makes you smile
the tears you cry
and when you die
I will be in your last sigh

This is so profound and simplistic but compassionate all in one. I love that last line - I will be in your last sigh. Oh those tears I do cry..

In Silent Ways

This to me is of a higher power there for us in the mornings. the middays,. the evenings and yes with us through the sad and the good times. Am I close Longo?

Sometimes I can feel a poem or get the wave length in the words and then sometimes I can be totally lost in it. Yours hit me spot center today. Hope all is going bit better for you and I am always happy to see you still writing.

It is,

I like the title. Many times it is not what you speak out, that is felt but what you say in silence that really makes the point

Oh this is so lovely, so beautiful, so aesthetic,
I love to return and return to it Joe, just to see
it again, hear it again, feel it again. Anni.

I especially like These lines.

I speak to you in silent ways
the stillness you hear in you is me
I am the breath when you awake
the warmth that fills your heart
when it aches

After that it stumbles a little to me.
the light you seek when you despair
you will know me

A great poem just here is where I keep rereading over and over again for a better flow. (-:)
