The Passion and the Soul of You

The dream is over.
This is it.
But you are my forever, my Beloved,
were you not mine when time began and ended?
Was it not your touch alone that brought me to life?

I was a beautiful statue once,
perfect except for the flaw: I was a vision
of perfection that hadn't been lived. I was spirit
without a body. I was yours and you hadn't claimed
me. I was invincible then but I had no choice.

Now, I am yours. You have touched me like an
awakening god.
I am your immeasurable passion. Am I worth suffering
your life?

I can really relate to this poem. It may inspire me to write...

always, Cat
