IT WAS A DREAM - 1

I saw a monster whose face was blank
With all my strength I tried to run
Something held my legs and dragged them along
Every step was hard a task to do
A witch flew with spells across the sky
I stumbled and began to crawl
Crawling was not easier either
How to escape was all I could think
Each move brought the monster closer
What was that? I turned to look
There it was in changing mode
A strange looking mountain gorilla
An elephant in a human form
A formless entity with all our fears
It was really hard to tell
My heart beat faster and faster
I had no idea of what to do
Summed up courage and made a dash
I found myself staring into the dark silent night
Wondering what that was all about
Do not worry
I consoled myself
It was just a dream

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

That was some wild ride your poetry took me on! Intense to the end!

Summed up courage and made a dash
I found myself staring into the dark silent night
Wondering what that was all about
Do not worry
I consoled myself
It was just a dream
