this is an angry little word, in your ear

this is an angry little word, in your ear…

I sit here quiet and still, but deep anger burns.
Watching the life of my fellow man,
lorded over by a festering lot,
so undeserving their saintly heir.

You turn away! when I’ve just started, and have no intentions of stopping.
That book I hear about, that’s so bloody great,
put it up for our attention.
I throw down the gauntlet bring out the book,
I say it is no more than a story, of what the poor can dream.
Certainly not a honest read.

Who steals the starving child’s heart at birth ?, man’s god.
That child seeks non other for his safety, than man.
And we tell him, his life and his hunger are in the hands of a god,
we say the wealthy have more chance of passing through an needle’s eye
than going to heaven, or words to that effect.
He still can’t see god as he asks, do the rich people hunger also.

Your hunger will feel better if you listen to the word of god,
eat some more rancid Goat’s hide and go to bed.
Don’t forget to say your prayers. And we film this.

The starving child in the African field,
fears man more than the lion.

Keep your prayers, I scream in anger, prayers cannot feed they’re hunger.
And could my raging words change anything,
I’ve wrote and roared these words for a very long time now.
Would me saying my country has failed, not just me but generations
of my countrymen, and scores upon scores of poor defenceless children.
And when I say poor in relation to my own country,
I feel a deep shame, that in an educated wealthy society,
we still have poor. It is an insult to the senses of the common man.

If our leaders don’t care for they’re own,
what chance another nation’s starving children.

Leaders who sit in they’re lordly homes, encased in the shit of horse or dog.
They’re private pile what?? they’re driven by greed,
and have a god called cash.

Who in hells name needs a heaven, they have it here on earth.
They’re more than happy letting the poor have some of god’s heaven,
but you only get that heaven when you’re dead.

No my rage won’t change a thing, but only serve to offend the dead.

Offend the dead we claim to hold so dear,
whom if we could ask, would I‘m sure say keep your heaven.
Give us a long life, without bullets and hunger.

I say again listen, hear the anguished cry of the starving mothers,
rise up to join the wails from families of our dead soldiers.

I want to hear all nations voices rise, gathering to a crescendo.
Forgetting that god in heaven nonsense, and carry man on into a better future,
Safer, cleaner, less poisonous,
both in the air we breath,
and in the way we treat our fellow man.
Where we all can be educated as to what we can achieve,
not just for ourselve, but for the world as a whole.

I now stand and try to wipe the blood
from the hands of a nation.
A nation so unconcerned, as to smirk and
offend the dead
We are not alone we have many allies
other countries are complicit.

Our shame is lessened not !!!!

I fear as long as policy makers are able to buy votes using our money little will change except the face of the typical politician....................scribbler

I don't want to think that way, i believe nothing will change until we change it. Look at the Middle East, people power can change things. But only the people can use that power, problem is we're just to comfortable now. I was on a march on Saturday against the banks, but also for our student's fees. The're are still some good people in the world, we just have to start listening to more than our t v's. Regards Roscoe..

One of the main problems is that most people who would make good statesmen are unwilling to go through what is necessary to get elected..............scribbler

I learned that a long time ago. Talking heads are not necessarily speaking the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We have but to scratch the surface and gods with clay feet rise and fall.

To educate oneself one needs to know who is educating whom.
