A change of course in midlife
According to Hindu teaching, the period of early adulthood is a time when a man is very much in the center of activity. Gandhi was certainly a prototypical Indian householder in this sense.

Enjoyed the playfulness of the poem, which is self accepting to a degree while recognizing the danger of too much self complacency.
After scrolling down the poem I looked back at the page and by accident the line, "I'm happy to be naked & fat" was at the top of the page, and appeared to be the first line of the poem. Considering the title and tone of the poem, that line might work better as the first line.
I too have experienced a fairly wide weight range myself and have lately inspired myself by devoting 20 push-ups daily to each of my town's corrupt local politicians!
Also like accessing one hour shows from the Gary Null podbean. The first twenty minutes of each show is devoted to a look at the latest peer-reviewed scientific studies on nutrition and health.
