Last thought Anna today on this I mean:

Everyone needs to take responsibility for their own actions and not be so damn concerned with the actions of others

Kind of like Lady P said the other day..

Please do feel free to submit any and all ideas. The AEC is about to begin a review of guidelines and all suggestions are welcome. The only thing I would suggest is that all first read the membership guidelines and AEC guidelines so as to not have wasted efforts...............stan

I pleaded with Theo to be nice, and that is coming from me! Who many regard as the nastiest on the site. But he had to be nasty. I regret his permanent ban, I would have made it 3 months. But everything he said , that I read, while he was back on, was intelligent, insightful and downright mean.

Let it go.
Maybe he will be let back on the site like the thoroughly dishonest Ephraim AKA Mean Bee was. He should have been banned for life for his sleazy dishonesty.

Jess

Thanks for posting the AEC members action manual again. I hope everybody reads over it as it pretty well explains how even the AEC is bound by set rules and procedures. ........stan

that Ephraim Crud was here totally dishonestly as Mean Bee, even ran for AEC. Theo has been a mean bastard, but Ephraim was dishonest, fraudulent, and then gave a well word-crafted apology.

Who is worse? I would take Theo's mean honesty against Ephraim's dishonesty and callow apologies.

Oh the the issue is over, Theo could not be friendly, but I am sure Ephraim is not trustworthy, he exploited "Spotlight" and I am certain he will try to exploit Neopoet to any purpose he finds amusing.

Jess

Surely we don't need guidelines or rules to tell us we can critique, without being nasty. We need to knock some heads together and start listening as well as talking. After all we're supposed to be adults. Regards Roscoe..

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.

I have been suspended twice. But I thoroughly deserved it. For being abusive.

We don't have to be "sugar and spice" but the is a line, grey and fuzzy ay the edges between nasty and constructive. I mix the two myself regularly.

But this is not how we critique, the essentials of critique, the heart of it, can be expressed without lines suggesting its the worst thing ever posted here or that it is epiphanic, when it really falls in the mundane.

I'm making it a mantra here. "Text is only 30% of human communication, so though we are missing 70%, we are getting 30% that we would never have met"
