Polarized Perspectives:

All the world's A stage
As we rage and disengage
World is more a cage

FEELING YOU

I look up at the stars, so high and see
Without a doubt, you’re looking back at me
Tears, like shooting stars, stream down my cheek
My neck so steeply stretched, I suddenly feel weak
I bow my head, drop to my knees in prayer
Thank the stars, you’re watching, from up there
I feel your hand, touch my heart, relieve my pain
As I taste you’re loving lips, kissing me again
In time I know, these feelings too, may disappear
But, I only wish, that I could be, with you my dear

Mythology Of Rebirth

Survival of Myths- ala- Modernally
Of Rebirth...

Magnificent myth

No one has ever been reborn
Yes similar avatars/incarnations may be

Picture Show...

The memories stack up
each one having it's own place
I can remember all the laughs
each and every face

I didn't take many pictures
of the sadness and the toil
For I'd rather not remember
as I shuffle on this coil

There is enough of grief
troubles and the woes
The world's too short in joy
as everybody knows

So look at these scenes, my friend
see the gladness and the fun
I remember all the good times
we had troubles on the run

Servitude to pride

Our love, that once like an inferno burnt,
now like an ember smolders.
And it has become beyond rekindle by pride.
Our hearts by pride wreathed,
in loneliness we writhe and helplessly
watch our mirths into myth retract.

Without, serenity we feigned .
But within, by shadow of pride
Shrouded, for each other we groped,
and to the dirge of our fissured
hearts it spitefully danced.

Love

I love you like a butterfly;
my stomach flutters,
only for you.

I love you like a diamond,
sparkling and glittering,
when I look into your eyes.

I love you like raindrops,
that embraces the leaves with tears,
when we're apart.

I love you like a lighthouse,
with its guiding light,
always there, forever beckoning.

I love you like a mystery,
which I can sense,
but not explain.

BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

I am unique you know!
Light and darkness is of great importance
Without hydroquinone, the morning dew
How can the charcoal turns light headed
Or disguise in another face unknown
Oh! Mothers tongue long aborted
The straw we all emanate from
Search for the black goat while the sun smiles.

How To Lose Your Mind

First, you decide you want to eliminate that fat
Pushing its way through the stitching of your jeans.
Then you grab on to every piece sticking out
Pass the hourglass silhouette you've drawn on yourself.
Keep a food journal. Take a record of every morsel
That goes into your mouth. The pancakes, the bacon and eggs,
That salmon you ate for dinner last night. And yes,
That enormous slice of chocolate cake that made you swear
You’ll definitely start losing tomorrow.
Write down every calorie.

OF JOY AND SORROW

What joy in the jubilant sunrise!
The tournament won by my team;
An MRI that shows the cancer is gone;
I share the joy of young romancers
Who have discovered pleasing a lover’s body,
And the contentment of the old partners
Who cherish the memories of skin;
Of the generations which grow so fast
With the stare of wonder in their eyes;
I feel the joy of travel on breezy seas
To islands inhabited by migrating birds-
And always my face carries its one smile,
The indistinguishable crescent smile

Erosion

Strong stone stands sentinel over streams
Singing with silver whispers.
Sliding over slick shelves of shale,
Slipping between sheets of slate,
Slicing through sandstone,
Serene streams shuttle
Sediment to the sea.
Stone stumbles and shatters,
Sluicing downstream.
