GLORY SEEKER

He sought glory.....
end of story

POE REINCARNATED (June Contest) (Poe)

A raven wakened me today,
delivered me from moldy bed
liberating me to stray
from considering the dead.

I awakened to a dream,
some poets neglecting rhyme.
Picture boxes sit and scream.
People have no sense of time.

Time proceeds here without ticking,
clock hands sweeping, never ticking,
typist typing without clicking.
My past will return nevermore.

A Beautiful Dream

If only this world is mine,
I will paint it in brilliant colours
of hopes and dreams, born in time
to spread the joy of love and kindness.

I will travel to all the lands
where hunger reigns over a nation.
I will slice off its gripping hands
to end its dominion

I will vanquish the flames of war,
send greedy rulers into exile.
The nightmares they've spawned no more,
the peace no longer be defiled

a precipice of transcendence

trailing the stars of dawn
from an endless moonlight
sleets drooping a prance
of solitary ascendance

frost blizzard radiance
of the glaze, fall mists
strewn crinkled micro flies
heir of early waters, studious twinge

quenched solace to abide
the saddest renewal elegy
dew grays of hallucinogen
glistening, the nights chest

glittering hoarse, the soul
a hidden water, spilling
most lonely, silken light
virtuoso scents of blitz winds

Participate

What’s wrong with you?
why must you not
participate

Are you feeling depressed?
here, swallow this compacted pill
of bite-sized ignorance
to send those feelings,
Away

We’ll label you
with bright white stickers
plastered to your forehead
stained with permanent ink
from the moment you were born (with innocence non-the-less)

Tintullate

ovid worlds
like rain
repelled
the karmic ashphalt
steam rise song
Summers heat
diesel thong

Ruin of dust on truck
tracks
sporadic freights
on rails long
the heavy tools
rucksack

Kalash
and twenty pounds
mud huts
dogs kids and cooking
moms
mens murmured voices
rising above the phone
wires and hydro din
jets with shark fins
rocket hiss of drones
we die we live
no choice
just pray
no bombs

...

And where is GOD?

And where is GOD?

The only thing impossible is
one can't find God
FAITH
we must still have

there must be a power
beyond the beyond
some day scientists will
fetch HIM/HER

from eternity to eternity
but you and I will not be!

go for miles

it
this one way street
ran
Full of scraps
and televisions
shopping carts
ditches like the
entrance
to Hell

Smelled like sour
milk and happiness
for the sun shone
in and stole
the dour
raised flowers
like exclamatory Shouts!

The beast registered tagged
stickers of safety was ready
for flight
His boredom princess
with Rapunzel Zeal
Rumplestilskin behind the
wheel

crystals of the early dawn

from a cross flash, of the shepherds star
in the luminous parchments, high skies
burning diamonds from a reef of starlings
how many, how many trees must bow

rippled from the sway , of gusts
branches from the wingspread , blue bleached black
aridness that tremble to residues of immortality
shaking the fortified treehouse and forte

hanging by the darkness, thread to morn
springs to rocks, fogs of stone slithers
not more like when these arrived , on hawthorns
atop the flowers- glossaries diocese to constellations

I Wish

How I wish for my words to flow like silent hills
gushing over valleys and down into open ears
like the sweet hum of the morning light

To cast beauty over this blank canvas
as the light throws beauty over the horizon
in crimson colours of auburn, pink and red

You sit and you wonder about the times that could’ve been
about moments you might have missed
like grains of sand cascading through an oaken hourglass
