The Devil stood before Marcus,
enjoying his grief and despair.
There's another way to break the curse
the key is a woman, so fair..

Evangeline, Marcus's real mother,
the witch-guardian of the forest
forced to hand over Marcus to another
to save him from duress.

A Devil's worshipper had seduced her
to have a child for his master's rebirth.
A mortal host, one born with power
to prove his own fealty's worth.

kush

wall fall
we weak wanted
legs to transport
when will was washed
away in winter ways
a writer stays
stilled in shocked
silences
sluice heat
empty seat
chills and drafts
an echo chamber
mumble screens
the broadcast thunder
thin shinning jets
up through the night
to stars foresight
stall all
words
stuck
stacked
dishes starve
obtuse alone
and empty
once loves
cup is broken
and
now
empty
...

The Abandoned Child (Horror Story WS)

Alone in the park
I'm left alone
Soon wears the dark
I'm all alone
Not a spark of hope
I'm still alone
With the dreadful bark
Some fears die
Others grow
Alone

a happy blue moon today

BLUE MOON TODAY
It is 31 July today
a blue moon all say
lovely twill be tonight
Ah what a lovelingly sight
a lover’s delight
comes once every three years
so don't miss a chance
all my near and my dears.

We dont need another Earth

I press the glass of wine to my lips
and skim the internet news
three earth-like planets discovered
excitement!
what if there is life out there?
I keep reading...
abused children
crooked cops
war
murders
I drink more wine
trying to separate myself
from this humanity

PROMISE IN GOLD

Sweat drips off my nose's end
and runs from bald head to my eyes.
I take a towel and wipe my gourd
then look up to the cloudless skies.

Then I lift another block
and lay it in its mortar bed
bend down to lift another one
decide to take a break instead.

My break chair awaits me in the shade
as well as cooler and cold drink
beneath a big water oak tree.
Damn! it's hot! I swear and think.

ABOUT WORDS

OF WORDS

What is the power of words
but to speak the truth
of life's moments
There is no truth in joy
where there is pain
there is no room for pain
where there is pleasure.
there is a beauty in all things
in beginnings and ends
in Spring and in Winter,
Let the soul tell its sadness
let the heart break when to break
is all that it can do

The Itinerant Mr Ferntree

I park round at the tradesman’s entrance
yet there is no gilded trader here

in perception, I am the service worker
industrious, necessary, in and out the way,
ephemeral if you will

job done and gone, a small burnt on memory then,
no more
I left you to the assembled glory of one

who gave you some function in utility,
yet you won’t remember me:
this small sphere of influence, just moves on

Shed or shred

All Neopoets
join me to say

shred or shed your negativity away
compose some beautiful poetry to day

we all will
and
must
as have to
will pass away
one day

so while living
why sad should we stay
lets be happy
and
like yesterday be gay ,
if not like that
your country promotes today

Have a
Happy tone
from today
our way!

A Ghost In The Host (Horror Workshop)

It all has started in the room
of a newly wed bride and her groom,
a lamia has showed at an awful night,
a bad timing and the worst site.

Much fury stirred up and messed the place
to carve much grief on everyone's face;
the bodies, ripped off, blown the air
the blood has sullied everywhere
it tarnished the quiet younger dreams
with endless mourns and awful screams.

The cops _though searched_ no clue they'd find
the vampire has left no grounds behind.
