Soulful silence!

Soulful silence

Let souls live in peace
when they part
we know not
where they go ere they depart!

but leave tearful
but silent emotions
in ever human heart
let it glow
and
that's all what about
souls I know

We are all ''soles,''
Individual entities
we must know
once we are left
without
but
we leave others
bereft
without a doubt...

Let us continue to
live a life of Hope

AU PAIN

white cloud
blue sky
my knees skinned
but I got back up again
put my sunglasses together
oh vanity
kept going
but shook me up

MOVING

MOVING

I am too weak to sleep
too tired to dream.
I feel mysef melding
with the earth
as a brook with a stream
fluid motion into something
not of my knowing
too numb to womder,
fading from view
about to splint asunder
my soul free to do
what souls do
cutting
into inevitability
leaving the rest of me
behind.

WHITE ELECTRIC

WHITE ELECTRIC

Sudden waves white
electric
cut through a midnight sky
blue- indigo;
flashes of fire uncover
worlds unseen by eyes
blinded by darkness

there are a million points
of light
that lead us to
other realities beyond
the bounds of what we know,
but we would rather live
in the darkness of ignorance
than endure the light of truth

FOR GRANTED

There stands a leafless old oak tree
silhouetted by a blank gray sky
in a field, alone as it can be.
For years and years I've passed it by.

It died, I guess, six years ago
without giving a clue to the cause
its leaves and twigs the first to go
then small limbs after a short pause.

And the sun set and then it rose
in shutter snaps on the dead tree
till now the bones lean toward repose
in plain sight for all to see.

TRANSITIONS

TRANSITIONS

I have fallen into a silent
world of disconnect ;
my heart no longer feels,
my soul no longer fears
my mind no longer hears
the sounds of living.
I've come to the point
of no return and acquiesce
to the annihilarion of Being

Remember Thanks giving mama up there

No we are not bound to the
''blood''
in our veins
for each human it’s different
again and again
so an entity
7.5 billion we all remain
on this wondrous domain

Persona Non Grata

I suppose I should feel guilty
for feeling the way I feel.
I suppose I should apologize
for feeling.

I suppose
I suppose
that apologies are in order
for feeling like a blimp.
And by blimp I don't mean
in a body - image sort of way.

See, I feel like a zeppelin
straining against the last mooring line
holding it in place
as it bobs into the air.

And you say
how I need a new complaint,
but I'm not moving on
when you never heard the first one.

Terror For The Terrorists...

Moving softly through the night
Whisper quiet in the sand
Eyes seeing in half-light
Bowie in his hand

A gurgle and a sigh
Killer holds him tight
There is a reason why
Killer's here tonight

Silence meets an others' ear
When he asks “Who's there?”
He looks around in abject fear
Not knowing when or where

Wide open eyes and shaking hands
Crawling skin that's dripping sweat
Death is coming through the sands
This one's pants are pissing wet

SCOUT LIGHTENING

SCOUT LIGHTENING

A memory suddenly appears
like bolts of lightening
before a summer storm
striking the heart
with regret and tears.

joyful recollections from far away
torture wounded hearts
bleeding still
with thoughts of yesterday
