HUNTED repost

HUNTED

The fury of the days
leaves me to near insanity
and my thoughts steal
my dreams away
I cannot keep the pace
of a world gone mad
in a race to oblivion.
I have no will
to resist the coming slaughter.
the Beast seeks the ecstasy
of torment and the taste
of my innocence

when he comes home alive

A Soldiers Delight

If only someone
jumped like this
on to me
I would for all my life
have remained straight
standing
as I do always

come someone
make me brave
standing through life's midway

Now I stand only
half way
let me shoulder
your weight and prove
to be brave
as a soldiers shoulders

may come half way
I will run towards
your pathway
can you help me
to thy soul save!

The Magic In The Sky

This Magic In The Sky

As the dusk of darkness settles in the
sky above
The setting of the sun masters
colors we all love
Stars begin to twinkle, covering the
heavens at night
As the moon appears in its beautiful
array so bright

Magically in different forms until it
comes to be full
The starry dippers chasing one another
as in a duel
Disappearing as the clouds come into
sight with haste
The rain falls supplying the earth with a thirst filled taste

When Tragedy Strikes

Without warning,
the Reaper's blade sings.
Life meets its end
in the grip of Fate's hands.

Sadness,
happiness
tears and
laughter,
all lost to the dead,
leaving empty shells
devoid of emotions..

Truly,
the test
is for the living
who saw the harsh face
of a cruel reality
which robbed them
of their loved ones.

ABOUT OXYMORONS

ABOUT OXYMORONS
I’ve written my soul on
the walls of this place
a small but warm space
filled with ghosts of yesterday
and moments of memories
veiled in a sweet melancholy.
I long to tell my secrets, my life,
to another of similar kind,
but I am an oxymoron of
complex simplicity
and Time is impatient
to push me quickly on

To Jafo

I haven't known you as long as some
but twelve months we shared a home,
through that time I got to know you
down through skin and to the bone

Like a pesky big brother you'd giggle
as you'd play tricks and laugh all day,
that we didn't always see eye to eye
is all that I have no regrets to say

I know the demons that lived inside
couldn't fade your soul burning white,
that's not to say you weren't naughty
you'd come home in the deep of night

LOCUST IN THE ROSEBUDS

Slowly maturity catches on in beautiful shape
Like rising flames of a lit candle
Slowly melting its smooth white host in scandal
Conspicuous to eyes
For its footfall certainly not lies
Providence vanishes in the way
Of embracing hearts
As a bat jumbled in a sunny day
Crossfire, oblivious of hovering darts,
Innocent of the conspiring locust
Waiting patiently at all cost
To rape.

ABRA

alice
alive
thriving beyond
the rush of five
Olive limbed
and stubborn
the oyster world
gatherers to
govern

this wind
that speaks
translated
vibes
on wooden
wheels
she turns
the sky

Often I stop
to ponder
why
the rhyme
and treason
of a fallen
season

but I liked her
walk
that rabbit hole
jive
shes grown
up and bitter
now the
clever hitter
wearing her wolves
drawing ships
to the shoals

Grampa with L O V E

We love you granpa

YOU are that kindly light
that leads the whole world tonight
to another Christmas delight
may be brighter than bright
as it surges from your heart's warmth
'tis a passion for all to know
Granpa
you GLOW
We all love to HUG YOU
all must know
MERRY XMAS ALL
Still no SNOW fall
