THE CHOSEN

THE CHOSEN

I never knew this side of life
and I never did doubt the Mercy of Christ.
but then there was the Holocaust
and the World lost its Innocence;
human life is meaningless and blood flows
for the false perception of a greater good,
we are abandoned to the Chaos
of a Godless world, and we are the randomly
chosen who die in the shelter of light.

Gesu’, Ti chiamo; perche’ non mi parli ?

KURIOCITY

Vertigo violet
swept up in that sash of hair
punchs a metal funnel into the oil tin
feeds it in a delicate fist to the thirsty
mouth of valve cap opening
the dark shade quite then the blare
of hell fire summer hot
the heat resistant felt blowing on one
corner of the great bonnets sheeet
metal held up with coiled hinges

be that beautiful butterfly )))))menore edit))))))

A beautiful butterfly
has the privilege of entry
to any nectarish orifice

let it be planty
flowery
butter fly
will love to there die
even if it be a candle flame
butterflies love
the burning game
and put all humans
to tearful shame

are you now
at least game
O! what a shame
just hide your name....

THE COSMIC MIRROR

THE COSMIC MIRROR

I’ve written my soul in poetry,
let the words fall naturally
like spots of blood on paper
white pristine
metaphor, rhyme and imagery
made the telling glow and sing,
but the poison flowed from streams
of bile spurting dark truths of
pain and fear .
I stood naked to the world
In all my vulnerability,
a mirror image of Humanity,
the reflection of you and me…..

Heroes (3CP WS - Sestina)

The hunter's moon will rise tonight
and show the path we all must take
to kill the beast who prey on men
and leave their kins in pain of grief
The vamp who paints our land with blood
will feel the rage of vengeful blades.

For sure he'll be impaled by blades
or we will not return tonight.
We'll banish he, who feeds on blood,
avenging souls he chose to take
to plant despair in hearts which grieve
the loss of kins that shames the men.

A Place To Dwell ( A sestina) (Three Classical Forms WS)

Tell me, Oh tell, where does love dwell
Is there on earth a place with grace
Tell me, oh tell, where all goes well
Can that e're be? Is there a place
Tell me, oh tell, I'm full of hell
I need to see a happy face.

When wars and hate would veil the face,
there is no place for peace to dwell.
The earth becomes a **** hell,
and keeps no place on earth with grace.
I tell you earth is not the place,
and all with vile just go so well.

In Slumber

In slumber,
a soul took flight,
to embrace
a new adventure.

Spreading Wings

Two lovers
on distant branches
plea to the wind
blow faster enough
to make us kiss
at least
the wind smiles
and
says first read this

Spreading Wings

From that far off distant lands
Humans on my page land
they love my beauty
and
I am happy
with my fragrance spreading
far and wild
and
what a delight
everywhere around the world
is within
my sight

A Young Wind

I heard a howling young wind
and wondered
if I heard a howling young wind outside
across my parking lot
and through the tops
of all the trees
across the street.

But I also wondered
if maybe what I heard
was an ancient wind, an older one
blowing in from the cold north.
I asked myself if winds age,
indeed,
if the wind ages and continues to mature,
or if it dies quickly like I've always assumed.

DESOLATE PLACES what I have learned [Richard for Joe]

DESOLATE PLACES

I’ve walked in desolate places
among souls dead to this world
seeking an end to their painful
delusions, trapped in their own fears,
and false perceptions, afraid of living,
terrified of dying.
where there is no light, seek the embers
of a fading flame.
where fear begins to paralyze, take one
step forward at a time; you will get there,
and when Death’s Shadow threatens,
give in with the acceptance of the end
of the human journey… and follow the
the footsteps of others.
