Saturday night, I was amushed by my computer while I was greeting Lonnie logging in at Chat on the Darkside.
My computer decided on it's own to reboot. By the time I returned, Lonnie was gone. I hung out until almost 10pm. Then I canceled. ~ Geezer

The resumption of the Geezer and Weird Elf partnership for Chat on the Darkside; this last Saturday of 2012! We will be a co-host show this next year and I expect that it will be a interesting and fun year. Please join us and see. Happy Holidays to all, may your New Year be happy and prosperous. just around the corner, I figured that we should just have a Halloween party! Bring your limericks, free-form
Haiku and anything Halloweeny! We will vote for the best in each catagory. We don't have any real prizes to hand out, but you can earn bragging rights for any form. So get a jug of cider, some warm doughnuts and we will tell some ghosty stuff and have a good time!

Geezer's Chat on the Darkside will not be on tonight [10/13/12]. I am not feeling up to sitting here for an hour tonight. Thank you to those of you who showed up, and I am sorry if you are disappointed that we will not have our usual repartee. I will write a new blog for the next chat and will be ready for you then. On Saturday the 11th, there will be no Chat on the Darkside.
There is to be a family function, [at which I am supposed to be the life of the party] and having the need for some fun, I am forced to attend. I will however, be having a chat on the 25th, which is the last Saturday of this month. Thank you all, for your continued support. ~ Geezer

On Saturday March, 31st, Chat on the Darkside, everyone should bring a poem with the theme of no hope.
There will be no happy-endings! I want your darkest endings for the subject of said poem. You have a whole week, so I expect that I will see some very sad and despairing ends for these poems. We will critique and discuss the poems and the endings. ~ Geezer

This chat will be devoted to each participant bringing one verse of dark poetry to the chat for discussion and critique. Bring your darkest thoughts! Any form is acceptable, rhyme, free-form, etc. Make it up as you go, or bring something you have written. One verse only please, as we need time to critique each one!

I have been given the go-ahead to resume Chat on the Darkside! The first Saturday of December, will be the first session of Chat on the Darkside. 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. I expect that all dark poets shall have a "Dark Poem", for us to critique. It can be whatever you want, funny, sarcastic, romantic, your choice, just make it Dark! And short! A couple of hundred words, more or less. I know you are out there, so com'on, this is your chance to show us the Darkside! ~ Geezer
