I can't creat an advanced formatting

Forums:

I've noticed that the advanced formatting doesn't work with me. Is it only for premium members or for moderators and workshop leaders and does it include the bold and italic forms?

It's not just you. At present the advanced formatting does little more than frustrate me . I like to do a bit of concrete or form poetry and an occasional parallel poem but every time I try it comes out double spaced which dilutes it. Perhaps someone more technically inclined can help you out............stan

Select text and hit Ctrl B for Bold
Select text and hit Ctrl I for Italics

STAN- it should preserve single spacing when copy and pasting, if typing in use Shift/Enter instead of just Enter for single spacing.

In general if Advanced Formatting is selected it will preserve MS Word formatting when you copy and paste.

N.B. Always select Advanced Formatting BEFORE typing or copying in text.

I shall try ASAP...I think there should be a special thread to explain and clarify this in the forums and save everyone's time...Highly appreciate your time.
