Myth, Fairytale and Reality? (poem)

When the final curtain falls upon my eyes
while the Gods haggling sounds like barks
and winged creatures do battle high above
for whom will obtain my life’s spark
as I return to the great void
to wait and see whom will call
if by chance might I return to the human race,

While few who walk upon the soil remember me
as darkness deepens in my brain
and deaths winter over takes paralyzing all my ends
then the screen of life runs in reverse
as I see all the turns I did take
up one road and down the next
was this a life of tug-a-war?

Those above who play their games
with creatures that they love and hate
while names are dragged back and forth
on a slate that not even Santa Claus can imitate
and tooth fairies take the coins
from travelers on the River Styx
while on the other shore minions wait to eat their loins

Here on earth I’ve lived in one big mess
wondering what is life or what is death
all that’s come of it is a jumbled mind
like the blind leading the blind
while hearing laughter echoing all around
almost like a rib splitting sound
and those in power sit there looking down
as if seeing a garden that has gone to ground

Yet the faithful say;
“There must be adoration!”
but of what, something I can’t hear or see
how can I praise something that plays games with me
how cruel can the Gods be that they give us rules
while we live in a world filled with strife
and struggle every day to live a good life

Those I love drop like flies
again the faithful say; “God took them”
or did they go straight to hell
when really all there is, is deaths sleep
there is no Heaven or Fiery pit
only worms that eat and eat
but yet they say; have faith and take the leap

Does anyone really know?
I have not met one that has reported back
for me it’s all anxiety
can someone tell me, Please!
Is it Myth, Fairytale, or what I know as Reality
