Neopoet Referendum No. 7

Do you agree with the following proposal?

We will create a unique workshop called "The Lab" in accordance with the community discussion (https://www.neopoet.com/forum/25082). Submissions to "The Lab" would have special visibility in The Stream and elsewhere. Submissions would be restricted, both by how often a member can post, and on the basis of credits, which are earned by posting quality comments. More detail is available in the community discussion page (linked to previously).

This initative, if ratified, may take several months to implement.

I've got a bit of wood for this.
Indeed, Mark, a new level of critique.
No more "very nice poem dear, cuppa?"

I'd much prefer useful negative comments about a poem I present rather than a pat on the back.
This is a workshop, not a place to simply post work. Looking forward to this starting!

will work great for the ambitious authors and who really want to grow with their poetry. It is also a way to enforce the art of giving the required constructive feedback.
Thank you Neopoet . You've always raised the standards for the ambitious poets by encouraging the qualitative poetry.

Keep it up!!

I suspect we all write some poems just for fun and write others we are really serious about. This will give us a place to post the latter.

I believe the lab has the potential to be the home for honest critique online. I believe this is an opportunity to better ourselves as writers and to grow as a community. Thank you to the AC for making this happen. Thank you to all the people that had the ideas to start such a program on the website. Thank you to the members for trusting in us for 11 years. The biggest accomplishment is keeping your trust and being the home for your poetry.

All ideas are welcome

Very.

I've missed all the hard work of getting Lab going, but YAY!

I will write a resolution into existence: as soon as I've written a poem again, it will go straight to the Lab! Looking forward to giving it a try and I hope it changes Neopoet for the better.
