one of the biggest ongoing problems has been those not completing their commitment. This leaves a huge burden of work and responsibility on the remaining members. Ill health can not be helped, but I would suggest that those nominating themselves or accepting nomination accept a commitment to fulfill their full term. Three months is not a big ask.

And, as always, I encourage those people who do not like the way I state things to not only vote against me but stand for election your own damn self rather than sitting back and complaining about those who volunteer to give up their time and be accused unjustly when you don't get your way.

I would like to know about those who are running when determined who actually is running. How would I find this info out so that I can vote with the best info possibly and make informed decisions?

"For what is it to die, But to stand in the sun and melt into the wind?"

1) anyone can nominate anyone, including themselves
2) Names are collected, people are asked to fill out a profile for public consumption
3) A poll is constructed and each person votes for up to 5 people
4) The top 5 people with votes serve on the AEC

And contrary to the horror stories, all of this is done with complete transparency.

I remember the elections from the old site I just never had this question answered before. Thanks you.

I don't see a submission for you -- please try again. I got another report that a person's browser "auto filled" the page and made some changes on the backend to fix this. Please test.

Andrew, I may be a ditz here, but I did not find the nomination submission form on the stream, that might be a good idea to place it there, perhaps that's why so few votes are ever *captured* no one knows where to vote.

Everything else goes on the stream. If I missed it, my apologies for not paying attention; however, it should be refreshed every day so that it appears at least once a day as a reminder if nothing else.

Thank you.

And to all members here; May the best person who is qualified and has Neopoet as their first priority and concern, be nominated to serve this great site with the great pride that has been done in the past. Best of luck to all of you.

Is there a listing of who has been nominated yet?

Thank you Andrew

It's on the home page - when you click on home at the top of the page - it will be there big as day.

It is such a secret place, the land of tears. ~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

:)

No honey I got that much but where is the list of who has been nominated.

I am writing story and shall put it here soon, BRB in a bit

It is obvious that the submissions form is on the home page, that's where I found it to respond to. However, it needs to be *found on stream*.

I as well as others I know, go directly to stream *track all site activity*.

,

I believe it's not a good idea, it would scroll off in hours. It's available on the home page and easy to find. We don't need to change the site because some folks don't want to click the Home button.

In both stream and home page, and problem solved.

big deal, like Jon said, it'll be gone in a few hours.
And we definitely don't want to clutter up every screen you view with announcements.

Geeze, anytime you add a comment, make a change (even a punctuation mark), the edit and comment section (heading) appear and the page is back on top.

Duh! Even I know that.

"Duh! Even I know that."

What a great way to engage another member in an intelligent conversation. It's a good thing you are open to the universe.

Come on lighten up, Jonathan, Elfie; Barry and I have or at least know when to be serious and when to *let go*.

Today's a new day and spring is in the air, soon it will be St Patrick's day....and we can be green again....

For everything there is a season under the sun... (paraphrased)

Peace.

let go

it is not far
to fall again like a wall

inside I am holding on
to what is beyond me

come out and I will find you
pressing my hands against the cold
glass to the earth where
I don't belong enough to die
with its nearing truth

let go seeing I said
finding myself waiting
alone again and again
where are not now

(a poem of Barry's that speaks for me)

Love to All,
All to Love...

let me know when you are done with these and we can talk.

with this earlier version of Neopoet, that feature, which I liked, doesn't seem to have been re-implemented yet. You admit you always go to "Track all site activity" rather than the homepage or the stream so you probably haven't noticed.

And no, I didn't appreciate the "duh". We are friends and I love you, let's keep it that way.

cheers,
Jess
