Mooned Earth's Gap.

"MOONED EARTH'S GAP"
Margaret Ann Waddicor
16th December 2010.

You bridge the gap
between the now
and never coming soon,
the moon discovers craters
are a trap,
the stars they wink in wonder
as she plunders out from space,
a whole galaxy of lace
to make her dress,

and bless the earth
that spinning ball
out in the hue of stunning blue
with water first,
that slaked her thirst for more,
she's now without
but can expect
a visit
one or two,

from some of those two legged things
that roam the planet blue
her gown now studded
with sticks of probes
and funny things
that measure this and that,
for what you see
beyond her wings
I think she sings
listen..............

Ann,

as I have come to expect from your poetry, you are an artist.

Yet again you have managed to paint a work of art full of colour, dimension and ultimately ending up with an image soaked canvas.

This one is beautiful.

I think I will move to Norway if the scenery can evoke such vivid emotions in you.

Kindest regards,

HS

With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth, yet nobody sees me.

Welcome, ah yes, I fell in love with Norway and its nature,
its free people, without class prejudice, its SNOW not least,
at the age of ten.

I found later that that age was when I started to study things
in such a detailed manner that they stayed with me for ever.
This I knew at Art College where I drew from memory for the
teacher who asked us to do so; the windows of Norwegian houses,
which he came by and said, but woindows are not like that!!!
To me they were, and are here in N. but to the Englishman,
they were terribly wrong.

Love to you and I LOVED definitely our canvas description,
wonderful too!

Ann.

Ah you are the artist I hear your voice,
despite never having done so, as your poetry
also reflects your heart to this world,
your steadfastness to life
through thick and then is so wonderful,
I admire you so much dear Jayne. Love from Ann.
