Me

I felt it, a vast infinite space
It rang true to my inside
It was the human race
That remained out there

Beyond the space they dwelt
As this was my own being
Here within my sanctuary
It rang with love and energy

Love that flickered around
Leaping out to all it found
Beyond my boundaries
Unconditional and unashamed

I don't have to see you there
I reach you without a care
The energy flows out in waves
Has always for all my days

What is there inside my space?
You ask that I should not hide
I will tell you of what you will see
A white light, blued with intensity.

You out there are the same as me
A light shining out love, all free
Giving out energy to all that need
Can't you feel this precious seed?

It matters not for you to see
Life is given to you and me
To fill the space as we journey so,
Look to yourself don't let go.

Sink back into the space you are
The oneness that encompasses all
There you will be, free pure energy
Call me by the name you all know

I will stand outside my cave
There the children will gather round.
You will then be able to embrace
This me, and my inner space.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
Last few words:
Just a journey inwards and a few words thrown at those that lose sight of themselves.

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” — W.B. Yeats

This was just written as it arrived, I hadn't put anything on stream for a day or so.
I suppose it is meditative, and I am glad you could feel the peace that is in there.
Most people just run with life and all it throws at them I guess that Jayne is one of those lol.
There is no need to take on so much it stops your energy, just take that Jess has too much going on, and then he loses his good side.
See you soon,
Yours Ian.T and family xx

where did "just take that Jess has too much going on, and then he loses his good side." come from?

Have you even read my comment on this work?

cheers,

This was reference to the past pains you have gone through, of course I read your most welcome comment.
I was just letting Jayne know that there are a few of the poets that have many things to irritate them and test their strength.
I am blessed that my own ways are not shadowed by misfortune, and as always my thoughts go out to those that are suffering or have suffered.
You take care of you, Young Jess, and know that our love for you never fades, Yours Ian.T

This says so much about the Ian I have grown to know and love and the poetry far exceeds. What the fuck is going on? I know now it is not just me getting my reading 'ear' back, your poetry lately has been the best ever in every aspect.

Two things bug me. Predictably
Mind your ways, until you have gone.
You know anything with even a hint of preachiness will set me off like a cat beaten in a sack.

The other is Alexander. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander could be almost anybody, I hope not the bloodthirsty congueror. If it is your secret name, then keep it a secret. Mine is the only secret I have ever kept.
Standing outside the cave sounds like you are referring to Plato's "Allegory of the Cave", which makes sense in context, but not to Alexander.

Jess

A great thank you for your visit, of late I have been a little lost and not known what to write, then I just sit and type out the things given as they come through.
Alexander is a name given to me by the other side, Anne and her visits there, lol, so it means nowt to anyone it just came through as I wrote.
Jess, I try sometimes to write for others, and go into myself as it is quiet in there.
As to Plato I remember the story from years ago, it is deep and and fraught with questions, were the shadows the reality, or were the visions after, when seeing the outside????
As to secret names, I am, as I say I am, Ian.T. Howard, the T is for Thomas but don't tell anyone.
Thanks Jess for all you do and your wise words, at least you still have the universe at the tip of your fingers, I see no need to change Our Jess LOL.
Yours as always, Ian.T

Though I've always considered the "Allegory of the cave" either arrogant or mislead, it describes
"a gathering of people who have lived chained to the wall of a cave all of their lives, facing a blank wall. The people watch shadows projected on the wall by things passing in front of a fire behind them, and begin to ascribe names to these shadows. According to Plato's Socrates, the shadows are as close as the prisoners get to viewing reality. He then explains how the philosopher is like a prisoner who is freed from the cave and comes to understand that the shadows on the wall do not make up reality at all, as he can perceive the true form of reality rather than the mere shadows seen by the prisoners."
His philosophy of 'true forms", though revolutionary and almost infinitely clever at the time, is barely relevant now, when anyone who chooses to see reality can.

I just wonder where reality is,
is it between the fire and the wall,
Or outside.
This even that fades as the shadows.
Take care young Jess will talk again later,

this is really an enjoyable reading. I can't deny that Jess's reading adds to its spirit.
I especially like the true emotions you've put there. Let more of these come.
Thanks for sharing.
