Humour Me and My New Very In Laws....

Humour Me or
My New Very In Laws....

I see fat baldy men
who call themselves
judges,
they serve our number ten,
or senate, but nothing here
ever budges.

They say my written words
uncouth, or when I speak
I’m crass.
Do they not know a simple
truth, that a silly laws
a silly Ass.

I think they think, keep saying
it’s the best we’ve got, and
we’ll just follow like sheep.
Don’t they understand, when
those children got shot, I believed
then as I believe now I could write
better laws about guns in my
bloody sleep.

Remove the fat baldy over
qualified men, replace them
with the parent of a dead child.
I know this sounds an absurd
idea now or even then, but it’s
the same fat baldy saps that
allow the maniacs to run wild.

I’m talking about the children
of the future, that you and I are
going to save.
We’ll employ an good
hearted butcher, and send
the miscreants to their grave.

Your poem ( rightly ) exudes frustration - There seems to be little or no will or progress to change things! Your point comes across very well - with passion and honesty. I think this is the kind of poem that needs to be read more than once - It wasn't 'til I read it the second time that I realized it rhymes. :) ( I think that's probably just me being dense ). Lol

Love Mand xxxxxx

Thank you Mand, and no you are far from dense. lol. Great word dense. It's me having fun, i love to scatter the rhyme sometimes. So as you sort of stumble across it like i still do. T6hanks again Love Roscoe...

Roscoe Llane,

Religion will rip your faith off, and return
for the mask of disbelief that's left.
