Roundworms Tables and Clowns

Roundworms Tables and Clowns

They don their crowns as
they sit at the round table,
talking about war, well
those who are able.

They don’t see war as
life or death, but more
of a means to an end.
They’ll not be the ones
taking a final breath, to
busy counting the cost
of every bullet or missile
they send.

Oh they won’t pay for the
artillery, men or bullets that’s
used, they’re simple silly men
who never answer for whatever
they’ve abused.

We only see them on our
televisions screen, parading
like Penguins shaking hands
undeserved. It all seems so
incredibly clean, but we never
see what’s happening in the
back rooms they’ve reserved.

But we’re the worst type
of participant, we march on
streets but never change
a thing. They deem us as a
mere unimportant, ready to
run for work when we hear
the exchange bells ring.

the rhyme and the rhythm wavered. I suppose that you wrote it a bit different than I read it, so that may account for it. ~ Gee

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

Thank you Gee, I'll have a run through and see if i can smooth it out a little. Regards Roscoe...

A friend of mine has started a petition to send congrees to war in Syria. ....................stan

I'd like to get all the politicians from around the world, and stick them right in the middle of this conflict. But we'd still be left with the faceless billionaires who decide what's best for our planet. Thanks for commenting Regards Roscoe...
