In Time...

Relaxing in the sun
catching up times so long ago
Wondering where the years have gone
Does anybody know?

Haven't seen your face
a decade has gone by
“My, how the time does race”
is spoken with a sigh

Sitting on the sidelines
though I'm noticed now and then
included in the times
Memories of back when

See all the the welcome smiles
My mind is such a traitor
Photos taken erase the miles
I'll have them all for later

As with me , but we really did live all those years, and did many mundane things holding the excitement of some moments as a child blowing bubbles.
Falling in love tingles long forgotten how we wish they were here and that we could feel the same each day.
Not to be my friend, your write is true to form, they say as your drowning all your life passes before your eyes I aint going down there to find out but maybe that is a glimpse into eternity where all these things are brought before us and we say yes I was good or bad lol.
Take care bring back killer he was positive, Yours Ian.T

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

do the mundane things of everyday life, but when we look back on them years later, we do remember the high points more than the plain, mundane things that went with them. I almost drowned once, and I guess that I was too young to have had much of a life, because I didn't get any flashbacks, or they just went by so fast, that I missed them. LOL I have been on vacation with my wife at my in-laws for the past couple of days. We will leave this morning for home so that we can get settled in and I can spend a little time working on my motorcycle
trying to get it ready for a car-truck-motorcycle show. Then it's back to work. I wrote this little piece just to kind of celebrate seeing good friends again after almost a decade. Had a great time and will remember it for a good while. Thanks for stopping by and letting me know that Killer is a positive thing. I sometimes wonder about it.
