Merry Christmas Mama ( I post this every year)One more year...

Merry Christmas Mama

Merry Christmas mama
I'm sorry there's no tree
And I feel kind of bad
With no present to you from me

Merry Christmas mama
You should see the lights
They're so beautiful this year
All of them so bright

Merry Christmas mama
I'm blowing you a kiss
Trusting that an Angel
Will see it doesn't miss

Merry Christmas mama
From me, your youngest child
Clutching tight to memories
Of the many times you smiled

Merry Christmas mama
I still love you so
Sorry for the tears
But it's time for me to go

Merry Christmas mama
I'm trying to be brave
But it is my first Christmas
To be standing at your grave

I miss you mama......RIP

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
This is just my way of keeping her memory alive. I still miss her after all these years.

And we never get tired of it Rett.

But every year YOU were her present,
and here you still are!

Love to you Rett from Ann.

It is never easy to lose a parent, but keep them alive in your memory and they are always with you.

Thank you for the kind words.

More often than not, it is Mother who is the heart of the family.

We lose heart with her passing. Helen..3/28/84, and Louis 12/26/03

Enjoy each moment and they will enjoy with you..
A lovely write for your Mother, who watches over her children still,

Thank you Rett, and I too sailed through worlds invisible with you here,
and recognise the traits of my parents in me, I loved both equally,
but was always sad that we had the slight burden of a Victorian
upbringing in the background, how I should have just loved to have
known them better, my mother I did much more, as she lived till 91,
my father weakened by killing pain at 72.

Today children communicate about ALL with their parents, how lucky they are.
And possibly don't even know it?
Love as ever Rett, I picture the scene, and sense the feeling. Ann.

I watched over my mom mostly from my teens on as I was the only one close. The last few years my middle brother watched over her along with me. She died of the big C since her doctor just treated her like she was a hypochondriac since she was old. By the time I convinced her to see another doctor things had progressed too far. I miss her still and it has been many years.
