R*i*s*e*r

bruise
deforest ideals
with a blow

sacred shrines
aflame
with dusk fires

have we forgotten
is our end
shattered

hold your hand
before the gleam
the halo
the star

pyre's smoke curls
halo shaped
eyes reflect heat
gods rejoice at
the offering
consumed

this is simply a lovely poem thankyou

who cannot sit against the bank of any river and not feel humbled
we are helpless in a current great
we are infants swimming
in the humblest beginnings

Never Tame
our wild creation

how I love my rivers
sitting quiet
near their waters
clear
muddy
tannin stained from the
great bowl of swamp and meadow
redwing cry

I have come to remember your writing
your notations

bathe in the history of Clinique

I still have my Siouxsie Sioux cd
out of all it remains
I listen to it
every
night

waiting
for
every
dream

and
when I walk alone
to the edges
of the dark
waters
in the woods
to wait for dusk

I dream

Thank You Ida!
