THE NORTHERN STAR

I woke to see the north star peeping in,
it shone, a beacon in the sky, bright golden yellow,
dark the blue, as night was not yet done,
though later its eclipse by light from that old sun,
made it appear to disappear from sight,
it only waits for fading light once more,
to visit my sky's open door.

Thank you dear JC,
It was just so, and the just so of things are often
very fascinating in their just so-ness aren't they!

The Northern star has been a wonderful sight to many,
for so many years , tales of sailors, and just lovers gaze, they all are intense with the glory of the stars at night,

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

Yes Ian, those thoughts went through my head as I gazed,
and felt the privilege of SEEING the star hanging there
like a lantern to the imagination.
Such a simple prick of light, and yet, as you say,
a whole world of associations well up when we see it.

Thank you and Love from Ann.
