When Johnny Comes Marching Home
WHEN JOHNNY COMES
MARCHING HOME
And the troops
came marching home
in files of six and seven
raking
the city streets
like a razor's edge.
And when they passed
four turned their head
the ones on the end
stared straight ahead
The war was over
and the living marched
side by side
with the dead
and Johnny came home
again.

The price of war is
The price of war is inevitably paid by those who fight and return and the ones who wait forever for those that never return. Your poem speaks to me of closure for those who wait. You might want to put a bit more flesh on this piece. Its clear and concise but would benefit from a little more expression. I like what you have here at present. Looking forward to reading it in future iterations.
