Gothic arch framing an alabaster face

well described.does the dress make it a defense against the world?

Thanks for your thoughts on this, French. The muse behind this poem was a small woman I saw one day on a street corner as I was riding a bus. The moment passed quickly but the image stayed with me. The poem is my take on the tableau from her physical description to her imagined persona.

Thanks again,

I have to agree with the above comments I really liked that it felt personal or intimate, I cant see anything that could be changed to improve the poem on a whole this is a really good piece

I look forward to reading more from you
