A Learning Curve...

A Learning Curve…

What is this great impertinence
we call knowledge,
that we all learn through life,
school or college.
It seems the more I learn
fills me with deepest concern.
Thus, allowing me only
an odd adage.

How can we prove
proof is really proof,
when all our teachers
seem so grand or so aloof.
They hide implied truth away,
saying we’d all be led astray
We must be careful not to shatter
their alleged, glass roof.

Why didn’t I write down
what I’d just thought
instead leaving my mind’s
trials in a nought
A simple act with pen and ink
lets the world know what I think.
Alleviating me of always
feeling fraught.

But in the end it’s down to
your personal learning curve,
or in my case how much
schoolwork I could swerve.
For they only want us educated
so we can serve, and I for one
believe much more than
this I deserve, because even
in today’s world with half a
brain and a computer your
never going to starve.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
What do you think, had any original thoughts lately.

I really liked your wandering thoughts I thought that first stanza was a stand out for me and I love the wit you show in this one, it reminds me of something and for the life of me I cant think what that poem is if I remember I will return and share it with you

Loved this piece, it gave another dimension to thinking..
Only one thing to say on the pieces theme, if we stop learning then we stop living..Grand write, Yours Ian.T

.
There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

We can learn, but we can stop playing their game. Let's start teaching that it's good to think about others, and that going without doesn't sink the econommy as the establishment would have us believe. Thanks for reading Regards Roscoe..
