Searching HIM

in search of God......

The world has yet not realized
God is simply a surmise…
I have visited far and wide
Churches Temples Mosques and Gurudwaras
and monks resorts---monasteries
as well as
Bodh Gaya….

all over the world I have been
between ocean and seas
and wilderness in-between…

around the world the universe...
all I see
they smile at me

huge blocks of man made sculptors
they smile and ask of thee
have you come for solace?

we too walked the way you now do
years in time have evaporated since
but we were then also in search of God
as you are now
and
in us you have found yourself
now go back and tell your kith and kin
human relations build a brotherly-hood nation
till you enter our gates
through burial and cremation
we all are naught
between birth and death caught
go enjoy the sojourn till it lasts
there after you will have spiritual comfort
as long as your soul eventually does last

Liked this write,
but look inside
you have buried
your God in there,
Yours Ian.T

.
There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

Your write left me stunned, in a good way, its a whole other side to your poetry that I have never noticed, maybe I was sleeping ;) ?

I cant see much I could offer I dont agree with all of it but at the end of it its not my poem so it cant be my view but I admire the work you put into this one

you have inspired a poem its name will be, while you were sleeping :)

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” — W.B. Yeats

perhaps tis ,

I who sleep

dream of a God
BUT HOPE ALL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW
AS MASSES CAN'T BE CONTROLLED

WE ALL KNOW...
God bless you all..
