Labor Day 2008
The man, he strives for
Greater depths
The demon sighs, and
Counts his steps
The mortal coil, slips
From debt and wine
The demon laughs-
And cracks his spine
His eye awakes
Within eternal sleep
The demon dozes
On dirty sheets

Could do with a name to call you but that will come later..
I have written a few like this and I find them good for the way of writing and being.
Short and good, to start, and an end that curves back to the start again.
A cycle of events, Yours Ian.T
Holding
Of spiders webs and delicate things
Of powder of the butterflies wings
Of pebbles dropped into ponds
Of humming birds and loving words
Of peoples silent dreams
To hold the web of life so free
To let the powder touch your mind
To let wave on wave just travel on
To hear humming birds in song
To dream of other things
Be holding on to the web of life
Be delicate as the powder sounds
Be a slowly moving wave in time
Be lulled by the humming birds sound
Be then within your dreams
