borderline
the status phone
an empty breath
with static hiss

linger like a winter kiss

this hunger wander
tracks across abandoned square
beneath the black night
splenduor of autumnal night

within the bag of tricks
metallic hitch
the pinch bite drips

in candle dwell
the I Phone candy euphoria
ebb
the land of the forsaken
sought
beneath the solitary flares
and tanks against the
fenceline haunts

one in the chamber

indeed! I see a person that is afraid of the hermit-like exsistence that he has sought. Connected to the world that he has rejected, by only a cell-phone, he wonders about his sanity. Maybe not what you intended, but what I see. A very deep and dark poem, in any case. ~ Gee

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

In the land of dreams I go....more real then real..
the lighting the taste...
in the air the winter tinge
stained with its eternal sadness
Like the Halo of heaven had tilted
and its candles loosened

Such a lovely dark poem. Love your writing, I can't write like you - post (or is it post-post) modernity and imagery which is still lyrical, dark but has humour or dryness too.

Ever so dark but the imagery is flawless none the less I loved this one

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper.” — W.B. Yeats

with all our lights and comfort and beliefs
(or none)
I know the world without order
the world in the mirrors
the twin

am enjoying the winter
and the solace of beauty
in dreams

the beauty of that horror
unafraid
