COME BACK HOME!

COME BACK HOME!

Moment you made me, your love destination
I knew heaven had lost an angel for my sake
Nothing I dread like missing and losing you.

Waking up and knowing
You are not by me hurts like
A million arrows to my soul
Yes! I did hurt you with one
But now! I bleed from too many
Shots from your innocence
Darling save my heart!

Come see the pain in my heart
It bleeds with guilt

My wife my life
Too bad I messed up
But for the angel that you are
I cling to the robe of your mercy
Shower me with forgiveness

Just sprinkle it
On my restless heart

Darlings hate me not
Condemn me not
Pray for me more,
But please love me most

I swear to defend my vows to you
Uphold it strongly like its sword
Even in my weakness
Mortal I am

Come home, my queen!
A palace is not a home without you
My queen, come home!
My love!

I so need you to make
Me your best half
I owe you love
So endless, I can’t pay,
Heaven sure will help

My queen angel
Come home!
Just come home
To guide me
Out of fault into my self
You alone is my true love
The love of my life

Come home, my wife! It’s been
A life time without you
Come home to me baby!
We belong together always
I love you.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
Last few words:
“t’s for that person that has cheated on the spouse, try this poem, apply it, perhaps you might win your love back”

it's Felix, isn't it? A long time since you posted.

A little hint about this poem. There is a book called "Damned Whores & God's Police" by Anne Summers.

Women don't like to be treated as goddesses, or whores or neglected. Speak to her personally about who she is and what she means to you.

cheers,
Jess
