The rise and fall of notes
enhanced by lyrical quotes
not all genres float my boat

its a certain beat
that gets me tapping my feet
out of my seat
like minds to meet

Choice of music
can have a motive
just 'cos its emotive
many a romeo
chooses disco
shown his moves
to get her in the groove

Whatever music you choose
pop, country or the blues
it can be a great muse
accompany you when your down
or pick-u-up, remove your frown

So play what moves your soul
every song has a role
so cry, laugh, romance
its all part of life's dance

A few words that say the same, I think that we should all enjoy as I do the music we like, not one inflicted on our ways by others, lol
It is as poetry, this to some would sound good but to others grate.

A secret boat that needs to float
A cry of gentle bayou breezes
Held for sweet memory to rotate
That love should come my way..
