You nearly had me at the testosteronous need for speed.
Then turned it into the Roadrunner,
who would undoubtedly squash Wil E Coyote flat in an E-type!

'Rhythm and Meter in Poetry'

Have a silly picture in my mind.
An "E" Type racing it's little gears off, across the open country,
spilling red dust to the air in billowing clouds,
the driver smiling as if his/her world is complete.
On turning their heads to the right/left if you are American.
There smiling back is that road runner caught in the eyes for a second, then a Beep Beep as he forges ahead and out of sight.
He is my Hero!

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

LOL...Isn't it fun when you write something and other people see completely different things in your images? Thanks guys, saw an immaculate E-type whilst out walking with my Dad...he literally stopped mid sentence and drooled..."a complete babe magnet that one" he said, all misty-eyed. It's beautiful lines are like poetry in steel. I rest my case.

I'm glad I didn't crash through the sound barrier.

"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

You were a magician of language, and it would be most respectful, perhaps even ethical, not to look too closely into the workings of your magic. But it’s to the brilliance of your credit that analysis of your methods does nothing to erode the joy of amazing stories. Like all good magic, YOURS just cannot be explained away. And thank God for that.
