genesis dawn

at the end
the void
without form
empty

the nothing
from which everything came

what is nothing?
It is a conundrum for
the moment I think about it
it becomes something

and
I may escape
the pulse of my heartbeat
but I cannot
flee thought
.

What I love most about your poetry is, it makes me think. And it is always nicely packaged. These are my favorite lines:

what is nothing?
It is a conundrum for
the moment I think about it
it becomes something

and the ending lines are killer!

Hmmm....... I think therefor the world exists? Some of the newer physics also say that the universe is as we see it Because we see it.(I think it's called quantum physics) So now you reveal yourself as a closet physicist and public poetess lol.............stan

I was more trying to say there is not nothing at the end…
but your take is part of the whole, so I was successful in part in relaying my message – it’s good to get feedback as to how successful one is with the write

and yes – I am a bit of a closet physicist – it fascinates me that science and religion both seem to have the same theories - they just don’t agree on a semantic level

I love what you're saying here and the way you've said it.

from nothing to nothing
in an expanse of time
we create ourselves
from nothing to something,
to become cynosure of many an eye
and
ere we die
we become once again
nothing from something,

so I always ask so many
something...
why amass if we have to finally become nothing

Enjoy my mind
as it confuses
more
than refuses
to believe

I do create something from nothing
but leave it to everything,
to become an existing,
yeah, you got it
something from nothing
in memory alone
if at all it's anything

loved
