TAKE YOUR DREAM...

'Take your dream as far as you can'- tear up the
roots of the dead flowers, grab the branches
above you and swing into the unreal vision of
reality, breathe the air of spaces unknown,
carrying with you the experiences of pressing
thoughts, the sudden surprises of youth, the
views that, with a flash of excitement, open up
great wide vistas, and magnetise your senses
to fly into their psychedelic embrace.

Float along on the streams of life, like the
autumn leaf, after dipping and diving,
as it finds the calm of a lake's edge
and oscillates in the quiet breezes,
gathering the last rays of the setting sun,
before it sinks, to become new life.

Dance to the sound of the song bird,
the drip of the rain, the swirl of the clouds
and the dramatic movement in an opera when
all voices join, and sound their messages
out to the universe of stars and planets.

Feel with your hands the shape of the future,
smoothed and polished, slippery and textured,
bumpy and sharp; become a new form of
yourself, create something out of your own
arsenal, using your whole being.

Touch the page with the tip of the brush, the
full wash across the hand made paper, the
colours of all nature, the scarlets, the azures,
the emeralds, the golds in hallucinations that
are real, mysteries that metaphorically express
the quick of your spirit and are seen to be art.

Another's dream here held in many words mixed with your own visions of things to match the colours seen.
There seems to be more than just one poem in here and I would love to see this unravelled then given out as two or more pieces.
The visual is great and I can feel those feelings run,

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

this is very rich dear Anna and full of images that can simply make up another piece at least. I am happy to come across this after reading Cat's piece which also tells about dreams but of different angle so found my self in the right mood to read and enjoy.

I learned a new word here too "oscillates " and love it.
It is really a great piece to be read to the kids not only to dream but to give them the motivation to fulfill their dreams too .

Someone on another site said they felt 50 years younger on reading this,

My answer to several comments was this:-

I am almost flying with all these comments,
the excitement is raising my sleeves as they
said about the brewing of tea in "The Book of Tea"
Okakuro Kakutzo.; in which he quotes. p 26..
"The first cup moistens my lips and throat, the second
cup breaks my loneliness, the third cup searches my
barren entrail but to find therein some five thousand
volumes of odd ideographs. The forth cup raises a
slight perspiration, - all the wrong of life passes away
through my pores. At the fifth cup I am purified; the sixth
cup calls me to the realms of the immortals. The seventh
cup- ah, but I could take no more! I only feel the breath of
cool wind that rises in my sleeves.

Where is Haraisan?
Let me ride on this sweet breeze and waft away thither."

Wikepedia Horaisan:

Horaisan (Japanese: 蓬莱山), or horaijima (Japanese: 蓬莱島), are terms used to refer to an inaccessible island that generally is part of a Japanese garden, and are often translated as 'Treasure Mountain' or 'Treasure Island', respectively. The name comes from Horai, a Chinese island important in Japanese mythology.
Japanese gardens typically include a body of water, several islands, bridges, meditation spots, a few human structures and many types of plants. The horaisan remains unnconnected to any other part of the garden: it has no bridges nor does it have any paths or structures. This combination of inaccessibility with the island's beauty symbolizes the realm of happiness not available to mortals.[1]
In contrast to horaisan, nakajima refer to those islands which people may visit. They are connected to each other, and to the mainland, by bridges.[2]

Love to all Ann.

but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

if I were to be in a dream as you profess

ma’am
I’d rather stay in the framework
of that dream
for my life
this one and thereafter
if there be one

Yet if i were to remain confined
to the lovely dream
I may add that I’d become immortal
as I would be locked up
till eternity ...
