Emptiness is a door to hope

Emptiness is a door to hope Belief is a mentality in the shrugged to cope.
Reality is the deceiver, seducing every dream beyond a reasonable reason. Wishing each wish is hope taking emptiness to a new meaning.
What is left? Is the emptiness of believing?

Interesting title and good subject. Only thing I would suggest is to divide the first 2 lines into shorter lines to break up into individual thoughts...............stan

I agree with Stan, I divided it to understand it too:-

Emptiness is a door to hope
Belief is a mentality in the shrugged to cope.

Reality is the deceiver, seducing every dream
beyond a reasonable reason.

Wishing each wish
is hope taking emptiness to a new meaning.

What is left,
is the emptiness of believing?

I wonder what one believes after this?
We all thrive on make-belief, it gives life
its dressing, or garb of splendour,
and no more so than in poetry.

"beyond a reasonable reason" sounds like a riddle.

I liked the rhythm of the poem
and the thoughts came out like lights
lighting up one after the other.
I was tossed from here to there
in my brain and enjoyed the ride.

Ann of Norway.

"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

I read three times
And in my weary, exhausted brain and body
To cope, to hope, and to believe is a door to emptiness.
Therefore, I walk in a way toward a door leading to emptiness
Squeaking loudly in my ear

I like this fery deep
