CUSP

fingertip chipped nail
pushs the pretty pearl buttons
sweet stitch aperature

history ghosts
watch
along the
rippled hall
tired tile floor

fill my listening with
your words sung
by happiness's
lilt

sunwarmth touch
in a tomb spring heart
we keep up
