Diwali 2011

May the darkness accept the light
and shadows cringe no more
may distance be surpassed and unsurpassed
by its own beauty breaking through
my heart to yours,
your heart entwining mine;
may we touch the embraceable
with its untouchable mystery
may we speak the language
of love in its ten thousand intonations,
may we use our time wisely
to join forces with the light no clever darkness
can escape,
may we always be children
in wonder of it all
dancing in the flame,
fearless in streets lined with silver-leaf
and sweet with the new moon,
rising.

Anna,

I no longer need Google to randomly search for something new and interesting to me...I have my very own:

Kailashoogle!

You always find a subject I know little about and get me investigating.

The poem was a delight to read and those two opening lines really set it up for me.

I haven't forgotten it was you that sent me in the direction of Leonard Cohen too!

Thanks,

HS

With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth, yet nobody sees me.

Hi Dan, strange that this came up today, I could have sworn I read it already and as usual, forgot to answer cause my mind get hijacked so easily (as usual).

Disclaimer: Kailashoogle will blow your mind, that is if you still have one to blow.

;-)

Hugs,

Anna,

I edited the original comment, following an horrendous spelling mistake, which nobody noticed!!

Kailashoogle is so much more fun and interesting than Google.

Ann is spending this weekend with me, she is in UK and thought she'd visit. I'll take her to Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge...and of course visit as many graveyards as we can pack in...she does like her graveyards does our Ann!

I'll take a pic of the two of us and send you one.

regards,

HS

Cool, I'm glad she made the connection. Don't forget she owes you a hug from me.

Wish I could be there.

p.s. I guess the edit feature doesn't apply to comments when they are posted. I looked to see if this was an edit first.

Btw, what word did you misspell? I'm soooooooooooo curious.
