Da' at
.
.
Once in a while my thoughts turn
to everything
intuited
imagined
felt
manifest
and not.
And it is as if my mind
opens
widens
expands
reaches
to give a tangible glimpse
of something wonderful.
And a wave of joy
delivering a fluttering truth
excites my heart
lifts my soul
and I almost
almost
perceive it all.
But the enormity is too vast
and before I can grasp it
it is gone.

Dear Judy
I love to see poets dealing with the crux of lifes philosophies (to quote Shane MacGowan). I was meaning to send a private message to you asking you to post this one, I remember it from the previous Neopoet encarnation.
The enormity of God is too great, too vast.
There is a joke from the film "Dogma"
Human beings have neither the physical
nor the psychological ability to withstand
the voice oft he one true God. Were you to hear it
Your mind would cave in and your heart would
explode within your breast. We went through
five Adams before we worked that one out.
Be well, thanks for sharing. JohnXxx

The hidden Sephiroth!
This is very good, it captures the ecstatic state of Da'ath (Da'at) very well indeed, and its transitory nature due to our inability to comprehend the infinite from our finite reality.
Well done

Hi
this piece should appeal to all (who are not brain dead)
smooth,in execution, and universal in theme
I really like the presentation and style
I like the simplicity and clarity, in the use of language, to make big points about the subtle and complex
you have done that here. I like and admire this piece very, very much
Great!... and that's my final answer!
best regards
Al

I love this one Judy.
I know that feeling…and
even though I fail to grasp this enormity, I too, still have
a feeling of happiness (as you express your joy).
I had never heard of da’at before. Very interesting
Concept!
This gem gives one much to think about.
Always,
Tonya
