Every Song

Every song I hear
Is related to you
you are the music
That is constantly
Playing in my head

Can you hear it too

Life has been
like a beautiful Love song
Since I heard the sweet tones
Which flowed from your lips
Making me feel alive once again

My heart now dances
Where before you came
It had forgotten the steps
With you I will stay
Until the end of my days

Every song I hear
Is related to you
you are the music
That is constantly
Playing in my head

It is spring forever
As long as I am with you
I am the tree
And you are the mockingbird
That sings just for me

When ever I need you
Or wish to embrace you
I look to the music
Where I always hear you
Right here in my head

Oh how I love you

Every song I hear
Is related to you
you are the music
That is constantly
Playing in my head

I'm just in love and I don't drink. I guess if I did, I would love my pint too, but I am truly intoxicated with Jonette.
Thanks for the read.

Oh to be in love !!!!!

I enjoyed this poem emensly although it was a little mushy, and romantic, for my usual tastes.. I liked the fact you used a song to evoke your feelings.

Ps does she know about the belt? LMAO!!!

Stand tall, be proud to be who you are, give the world the finger!!!!

She has a belt she beats me with. Funny thing is, I like it. LMFAO!!
NO, she does not know anything about the belt joke.
thanks for the read, and comment.

Your love shines through every line! This piece resonates with me, probably because I have the love of my life with me and no matter how long we are together, the time will seem too short. I understand just how you feel!!!

Love seems to inspire so much poetry, and it is so nic to have ones peers recognize it.
Thanks Bud, I do appreciate your wonderful comment.

Besides the fact that you eschew punctuation, I still like this a lot. The chorus works. Now, it may be that I'm so stuck on my wife that I was a sucker for the sentimentality of it, but I still like it.
